Beaconhurst Golf Hub Opening
The Headmistress of Beaconhurst School invited the Captain, Phil Wallom and Junior Convenor, Stewart Cameron to attend the opening of the Beaconhurst Golf Hub on Friday 2nd June by Martin Slumbers the Chief Executive of the Royal and Ancient.
The Golf Hub has been designed and fund raised by pupils at Beaconhurst School led by Tim Mitchell, who teaches golf at the School, at Stirling University and also Bridge of Allan Golf Club, who has been the driving force behind the project. It provides an innovative and exciting indoor golf experience containing a two screen simulator and putting area. It is intended that the facility be made available to the local community including Bridge of Allan Golf Club and will be an excellent addition to the training facilities the club has access to.
